Who it’s for:

Our supervision program spans the full age range, delivered by highly experienced clinicians who work exclusively in feeding, swallowing and dysphagia. It suits new graduates building foundational confidence, clinicians broadening into a new caseload, and experienced practitioners managing complex cases, risk and teams.

Clinical supervision and mentoring for speech pathologists working with adults across hospital, aged care, community and private practice. Drawing on Dr Cichero's clinical, research and IDDSI expertise, sessions support sound decision-making, complex case management and confident practice.

Paediatric Feeding, Swallowing & Dietetic Supervision

In partnership with Queensland Lactation & Feeding Specialists

Clinical supervision and mentoring for speech pathologists and dietitians working with infants, children and young people.

Delivered by Karrie Jardine and the QLFS team - a dedicated paediatric feeding, swallowing, growth and nutrition practice. Our team has taught and supported scores of clinicians, and each mentor brings over 20 years' experience with complex cases across major hospital, community, education and private practice.

The QLFS team have presented and taught for conferences & organisations such as Speech Pathology Australia, Australian Breastfeeding Association, Australian Paediatric Palliative Care, Queensland Health & Children’s Health Queensland, Australian IDDSI Conference, and Quality of Care Collaborative Australia. Our research and complex case work has been presented at international conferences such as American Association for Thoracic Surgery, and World Federation of Pediatric Intensive & Critical Care Societies.

Book a one-to-one session to talk through a specific case, decision or topic of your choosing. Bring a question, a challenging caseload, or a clinical decision you want a second perspective on. Ongoing Supervision: Individually Tailored

Individual, or your own small group.

Regular clinical supervision where you set the agenda. Book as an individual, or bring your own small group of colleagues. You choose the cases, topics and content you want to work through, and we facilitate. Sessions run as a block to build continuity and support your development over time. Adult supervision with Dr Cichero; paediatric with the QLFS team.

Ongoing Supervision: Mentor-Led Peer Groups

Structured small groups, streamed by level and area of practice.

Join a peer supervision group facilitated by Eat Drink Swallow Safe or QLFS, where we bring the structure, topics and clinical content. Groups are streamed by experience level and by age focus, so you learn alongside clinicians at a similar stage and discussion stays relevant to your caseload. Launching by registration of interest, so we can form groups around your needs.
